Commercial Insurance Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of a growing insurance organization. This individual will play a key role in managing client accounts, supporting policy administration, maintaining agency systems, and ensuring efficient coordination between clients, carriers, and internal team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day commercial insurance operations and workflow.
  • Oversee policy servicing activities including renewals, endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and policy changes.
  • Maintain accurate client, policy, and carrier information within CRM and agency management systems.
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers and underwriting departments to facilitate new business submissions and policy administration.
  • Monitor outstanding documentation, underwriting requirements, and client requests to ensure timely resolution.
  • Support account retention efforts by providing exceptional service to clients and carrier partners.
  • Develop and maintain efficient operational processes and procedures.
  • Assist with reporting, compliance, and administrative functions as needed.
  • Serve as a resource to internal staff regarding policy servicing and operational best practices.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience within a commercial insurance agency, brokerage, MGA, or carrier environment.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance policies, policy servicing, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
