An insurance manager oversees the performance of all the employees who work for an insurance branch and verifies that all corporate policies are followed, including the filing of client records. Specifically, as an insurance manager, you supervise a sales agent or broker to help them drive sales and make sure they sell enough policies. Then, you ensure each of your sales agents receives a commission for excelling in their duties. To maximize profits, you set premiums by using actuary data and information from appraisers to determine the likelihood of clients filing claims, as well as the value of their assets. In this role, you are typically involved in many actions that the branch takes, such as the approval, denial, or investigation of claims.

ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my agency in 2025 and currently lead a growing team of two. Before becoming a State Farm agent, I worked as a Risk Control Consultant, bringing a strong background in identifying risks, solving problems, and helping others make informed decisions.
Being involved in the community is important to our agency. We stay connected through the Ambox Chapter, United Way, and our local Chamber of Commerce, and we value opportunities to build relationships and give back.
Our agency offers health benefits, a 401(k), a life insurance policy, and a strong commitment to work-life balance. As a newer agency, this is also an exciting opportunity to get in early and grow alongside the business.
Our culture is competitive and results-driven while still being laid-back and casual. I'm looking for someone who is highly motivated, wants to become a leader and trusted expert, and is always looking for ways to grow. For someone with long-term ambitions, including potentially becoming a State Farm agent one day, this is a great place to develop your skills and career.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As an Account Manager for Tyler Rude - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You help grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agent office departments. You improve the lives of customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships to drive retention and growth.
  • Conduct policy reviews and provide recommendations to customers.
  • Oversee the resolution of complex customer issues.
  • Use your knowledge of our insurance products to recommend, explain and sell policies to both cold and warm leads.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in insurance sales or account management preferred.
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Willingness to engage in sales conversations.
