Job description

Position Summary:

Aleut Federal is seeking a senior, market-facing technical leader specializing in ServiceNow platform solutions to drive enterprise workflow and service transformation across U.S. federal environments.

This role operates across the full lifecycle - from opportunity shaping and technical solutioning through capture, proposal development, pricing, and post-award delivery assurance. The successful candidate will directly influence technical win strategies while maintaining accountability for delivery execution.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on ServiceNow architect who can design enterprise workflow solutions, guide platform strategy, and translate ServiceNow capabilities into measurable operational outcomes.

This is a build, sell, and validate role with direct responsibility for growth and delivery success.

Core Responsibilities

Growth, Sales Engineering & Solutioning

  • Lead technical solutioning for ServiceNow-based federal opportunities, including ITSM modernization, SecOps and cyber workflows, and enterprise service delivery.
  • Directly influence and help drive technical wins by defining platform-driven discriminators, leading workshops and demos, and translating ServiceNow capabilities into operational improvements and mission outcomes.
  • Partner with Business Development and Capture to shape opportunities pre-RFP and present and defend technical approaches to both technical and executive stakeholders.

AI-Enabled Engineering (Required)

  • Aleut Federal expects AI to be embedded into all ServiceNow solutions as a core capability for both growth and delivery.
  • Design and implement AI-enabled workflow solutions including intelligent routing and prioritization, predictive service performance, and automated remediation and workflow optimization.
  • Leverage ServiceNow AI capabilities and integrate external AI services where appropriate.
  • Implement multi-step AI-driven workflows with human oversight and clear auditability.
  • Required: experience applying AI within workflow or service platforms. Strongly preferred for Senior Principal: delivery of AI-enabled workflow automation in production with measurable outcomes.
  • Ensure AI solutions align with federal requirements for security, privacy, transparency, and auditability.

Capture, Proposal & Pricing

  • Lead and contribute to technical proposal development for ServiceNow opportunities.
  • Author and own complete technical sections, including platform architecture, workflow design, integration strategy, and implementation approach.
  • Build BOEs aligned to implementation effort, integration complexity, licensing, and scaling considerations.
  • Ensure solutions are executable, cost-aligned, and differentiated.

Delivery Assurance & Technical QA

  • Ensure alignment between proposed ServiceNow solutions and delivered implementations.
  • Provide technical oversight during platform configuration, integration, and deployment.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to over-customization, workflow inefficiency, and integration challenges.

Technical Marketing, Thought Leadership & Industry Engagement

  • Develop ServiceNow-focused solution briefs, capability messaging, and transformation use cases.
  • Actively participate in industry events, client briefings, demos, and internal forums and be willing to speak in front of customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Position Aleut Federal as a credible ServiceNow transformation partner.

Required Qualifications

  • S. Citizenship (U.S. Citizens only).
  • 7+ years of U.S. federal experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Recent, hands-on ServiceNow implementation experience.
  • Demonstrated experience architecting ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules.
  • Experience supporting technical solutioning, capture, and proposal development.
  • Ability to obtain a Position of Public Trust.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with large-scale federal ServiceNow implementations.
  • Experience with advanced modules such as SecOps, ITOM, and HRSD.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with cloud and enterprise systems.
  • Experience implementing AI-enabled workflow automation.
  • Active Top Secret clearance.

Certifications (Desired, Representative of Level)

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS - ITSM, SecOps, etc.)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
