Job Description:
Duties: Job Summary:
Responsible for preparing, validating and analyzing financial information; preparing journal entries; maintaining fixed asset records; reconciling fixed asset and other general ledger account balances on a monthly basis; work closely with other departments to assist with fixed asset and other financial issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare fixed asset account reconciliations, investigating and clearing any reconciling items
  • Review fixed asset project and purchase requests for proper accounting treatment and compliance with System’s capital policy.
  • Work closely with departments in recognizing asset retirements timely
  • Provide support for internal and external audits
  • Assist in footnote preparation for quarterly/annual financial statements.
  • Perform other responsibilities or assignments as required.

Skills: Required Skills & Experience:
  • 3 to 5 years in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Education: Required Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
