JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Client Executive to join our Northeast Construction Practice. This senior level, client facing individual contributor will be responsible for managing complex Property & Casualty insurance programs for large construction clients throughout the Metro New York market and broader Northeast region.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in commercial insurance, extensive knowledge of construction risk exposures and strong relationships within the New York City, Long Island and New Jersey construction marketplace. This individual will serve as a strategic advisor to clients and ongoing management of sophisticated insurance and risk management programs while driving client retention and growth.

As a key member of the client management team, the Client Executive will provide leadership, mentorship and technical guidance to colleagues while delivering exceptional client service and supporting business development initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner closely with Producers and Practice Leaders to support new business development, client retention and account expansion opportunities.
  • Serve as the lead client advisor and relationship manager for a portfolio of complex construction accounts.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive insurance and risk management strategies aligned with clients' business objectives.
  • Evaluate client exposures and provide strategic recommendations related to coverage structure, project-specific risk, contractual risk transfer and emerging construction-related risks.
  • Coordinate internal resources across Claims, Risk Control, Placement, Analytics, and Client Service teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
  • Lead renewal strategy meetings, stewardship presentations, and carrier discussions.
  • Review and interpret insurance policies, endorsements, construction contracts, indemnification agreements, and insurance requirements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with carriers, underwriters, general contractors, construction managers, developers, owners, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Monitor Metro New York construction market activity, project trends and industry developments to identify client opportunities and risks.
  • Mentor and support Client Managers and service team members through technical expertise, knowledge sharing and collaboration.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Strong Metro New York construction experience required, including expertise and relationships throughout New York City, Long Island, Northern New Jersey, and the surrounding region
  • Experience managing complex middle market and large account construction insurance programs.
  • Established relationships with contractors, construction managers, project owners, developers, and insurance markets strongly preferred.
  • Professional designations such as CPCU, CIC, CRM, ARM or equivalent are highly desirable.

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Active Property & Casualty Broker License.
  • Ability to maintain all required licensing and continuing education requirements.
  • Valid driver's license.

COMPENSATION: 

The base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $150,000. This range represents the employer's good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting.

Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, training, certifications, education, internal equity, and market data. This role may also be eligible for bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
