Crop Insurance Service Representative: Dixon, IL
The Crop Insurance Services Representative supports insurance operations through accurate data processing, policy administration, claims tracking, and communication with agents, processors, and industry partners. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient workflows while helping support farmers and agricultural operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, analytical, adaptable to changing priorities, and comfortable working within multiple software systems and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and review crop insurance data across multiple systems with a high level of accuracy
  • Navigate insurance company platforms, Microsoft Office products, and internal software tools
  • Assist with underwriting support and process improvement initiatives
  • Review policies and documentation for completeness, accuracy, and consistency
  • Track and report crop insurance claims to ensure timely completion
  • Communicate effectively with agents, processors, and industry contacts
  • Research and stay current on crop insurance regulations and industry trends
  • Support high-volume workloads while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with insurance providers and agricultural program representatives
  • Adapt quickly to evolving technology, systems, and business needs
Skills & Experience:
  • Education: GED or HSD, required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred OR
  • Experience: 2+ years of professional work experience
  • Industry: Agriculture of farming background, strongly preferred; Crop Insurance experience is a plus
  • Knowledge: Solid data entry and administrative experience, required
  • Software: Microsoft Office Suite experience, required
