Overview

BRMi is seeking an experienced Data Analytics Engineer to support analytics and modeling initiatives within a Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH) environment.

This role will focus on building reusable data queries, scripts, and Databricks notebooks that allow teams to analyze customer interactions, model performance, engagement, and business outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop SQL, Python, and PySpark queries and scripts to analyze customer and interaction data.
  • Build reusable Databricks notebooks for broader analytics teams.
  • Replicate Pega CDH customer contextual data in external analytics environments.
  • Standardize data retrieval and analysis processes across the team.
  • Map customer interactions to business outcomes such as account openings and engagement.
  • Analyze model and predictor performance.
  • Connect member profile data to customer interactions for deeper analysis.
  • Perform distribution, arbitration, and channel engagement analysis.
  • Establish baseline KPIs for new modeling capabilities.
  • Develop back-testing and monitoring approaches for model changes.
  • Monitor model performance and identify potential performance issues.
  • Analyze propensity scores and identify abnormal or low-performing results.
  • Evaluate whether actions and recommendations are achieving intended business objectives.
  • Monitor eligible audiences for different actions and treatments.
  • Develop reporting and monitoring that can be easily shared with business and analytics leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Strong Databricks experience.
  • Strong Python and PySpark skills.
  • Advanced SQL skills.
  • Experience building data queries, scripts, and reusable analytics notebooks.
  • Experience analyzing large customer or transactional datasets.
  • Experience with model performance analysis and KPI monitoring.
  • Ability to translate analytical questions into repeatable data solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
