Citibank, N.A. seeks a Data Analytics Senior Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.
Duties: Design and develop strategic solution plans for business functionalities and build dynamic and scalable data pipelines using Spark preprocessing framework. Gather business requirements from the business and design data flow in collaboration with data architects. Implement Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), data standardization and transformation pre-processes using different techniques like OHE, and data scaling and normalization for machine learning modeling. Design and develop unit, integration, and stress tests to ensure application satisfies all requirements. Mine and analyze data from various banking platforms to drive optimization and improve data quality. Serve as the subject matter expert of applications development techniques and emerging technologies. Consult with business clients to determine the functional specifications, applying comprehensive understanding of how multiple areas in the system collectively integrate towards achieving the business goals. Address system issues raised by users and clients by evaluating the business processes and the systems, considering the industry standards, and recommending solutions. Deliver analytic initiatives to address various business problems with ability to identify the data required, estimate the time and effort needed, and establish a project plan. Lead the process of system change from requirements analysis through implementation, and provides necessary user and operational supports. Formulate and define systems scope and objectives for projects based on applicable business systems and industry standards. Design, develop and modify the database schema needed in order to ensure uninterrupted services of applications. Optimize data storage and retrieval using Hive, implementing partitioning and bucketing techniques to improve query performance on large datasets. Build a multi-dimensional visualization dashboard using Tableau to aid growth, geolocation and statistical analyses. Design end-to-end application, set deliverable milestones, build JIRA stories, and breakdown the milestones into individual tasks. Conduct code review, set forth coding standards, and implement standard CI/CD processes. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Systems, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field and 3 years of experience as an Applications Support Intermediate Analyst, Data Analytics Senior Analyst, Business Analyst, or related position involving data solutions design and development for a global financial services industry. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. Full term of experience must include: Visualization dashboard building using Tableau in support of data analysis; Automation development and batch jobs scheduling; Autosys, SQL, DATABASE, JIRA; Tableau, Excel, PowerBI; and Pyspark, Hadoop, Hive, python, scripting, MongoDB.
