At Koslin & Kahn Oral and Facial Surgery, we are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Insurance Coordinator to join our specialty dental practice. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring a smooth experience for our patients by accurately verifying insurance benefits, calculating estimates, and helping patients understand their financial responsibilities before treatment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Verify medical and dental insurance coverage and eligibility in advance of appointments.
  • Calculate patient estimates, including copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and surgery deposits.
  • Obtain pre-authorizations and resolve any coverage discrepancies to reduce claim denials.
  • Communicate clearly with patients about their insurance benefits and financial responsibilities.
  • Submit claims, post payments, and ensure accurate documentation in the practice management system.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date patient insurance records.
