The primary place of performance will be at DIA Facilities across the National Capital Region (NCR). This opportunity will support multiple DIA initiatives, including the Machine-Assisted Rapid-Repository System (MARS), Object Management Services (OMS), and Object-Based Intelligence (OBI).
โ€ข The Senior Computer Scientist (OBI Analytic Efficiency Enablement), Employs mathematics, statics, information science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, network science, probability modeling, data mining, data engineering, data warehousing, data compression, data protection, and/or other scientific techniques to correlate complex, technical findings into graphical, written, visual and verbal narrative products on trends of existing intelligence data to leverage other IC data sources.
โ€ข Develops and utilizes machine learning and data mining algorithms, including, but not limited to, Multiple Information Model Synthesis Architecture (MIMOSA) prediction algorithms based on open-source capabilities. Integrates or codes algorithms to support Government intelligence search and discovery missions.
โ€ข Makes best practice recommendations on managing data within hardware, software, storage, and bandwidth constraints.
โ€ข Employs data science techniques to support predictive analysis, social media and crowd-source data analytics, wargaming, and strategy development.
โ€ข Employs exploratory analysis and rapid iteration techniques of large volumes of data to quickly derive intelligence.
โ€ข Prepares products to describe and document findings and activities.
โ€ข Review and evaluate OBI documentation submitted by data and AA owners to ensure compliance with tradecraft standards and adherence to best practices in system development and deployment.
โ€ข Assess OBI documentation for completeness, accuracy, and thoroughness, and provide detailed feedback to data and AA owners and developers.
โ€ข Assist in maintaining a repository of OBI documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across the organization.

Required qualifications/skills:
