Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed new business production goals and agency objectives
  • Prepare and present insurance quotes; deliver strong sales presentations and close sales opportunities
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with referral partners (Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, and others)
  • Educate clients on insurance options including Auto, Home, Life, and Commercial lines
  • Accurately complete applications and documentation while following all underwriting, rating, and compliance requirements
  • Use CRM (AgencyZoom) to track leads, follow-ups, and sales pipeline activity
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow-up to build long-term client relationships

Requirements
  • Active Minnesota Property & Casualty Insurance License (or willingness to obtain license paid for by agency)
  • Life & Health license preferred (or ability to obtain within first 90 days)
  • Proven track record in sales, customer service, or business development
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer-focused attitude
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and follow through on tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with computers, email, and Microsoft Office/Google Suite
  • Bilingual skills a plus (not required)
