Position Summary:

Arch is seeking a customer-focused Customer Service Associate to support our Travel, Accident & Health business during our evening shift. In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for customers, handling inbound calls, emails, and online chat inquiries while delivering exceptional service and support.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Answer client service and claims calls for travel, accident and health plans

  • Respond to general email inquiries and online chat conversations

  • Resolve complex call inquiries through appropriate resources

  • Determine appropriate product for customers, convert inquiries into insurance sales and enter them into policy administration system

  • Provide claim status updates to claimants

  • Provide troubleshooting for customer-facing technology

  • Additional projects and tasks as needed

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • High energy level and strong interpersonal skills

  • Objective, ability to problem-solve and multi-task

  • Must be a self-starter, demonstrate flexibility and adaptability

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred

  • Three years of customer service experience, preferably in the travel, accident and health or medical insurance fields

  • Life/Health and/or Property/Casualty insurance license or equivalent preferred

For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.

For AZ: $41,300 - $59,357/year
For Maryland: $48,000 - $68,931/year

  • Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
