Job description

Data Intelligence, LLC (DI) is seeking a Systems Engineer III to support development and integration of advanced U.S. Navy tactical systems in Huntsville, AL. This position is fully on-site in Huntsville, AL. A current, active security clearance that is at least secret level (or higher) is required. Responsibilities: * Lead or support development and modification of complex systems and subsystems * Perform advanced systems engineering analysis and design activities * Manage and decompose system requirements into implementable components * Conduct system performance modeling and analysis (MATLAB) * Support and lead system integration and hardware/software integration & test * Perform system verification and validation activities * Troubleshoot complex system-level issues and drive resolution * Collaborate across engineering teams to support system design and implementation * Contribute to embedded systems development efforts Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience) * 5-7 years of systems engineering experience * Strong experience in systems design, development, and integration * Experience with real-time systems development (minimum ~3 years) * Experience with programming or scripting (3rd/4th generation languages) * Strong understanding of requirements management and system decomposition * Experience working with DOORS * Experience working in a Linux and Agile environment Experience with the following tools are a plus: * Experience with MATLAB and system performance modeling * Experience with hardware/software integration and testing * Familiarity with embedded systems design * Experience supporting system-level verification and validation * Exposure to defense or tactical systems environments Data Intelligence, DI is an established small business that has supported the critical missions of our government clients since 2005.
