Job Summary/Objective:
The Machinist Apprenticeship Program provides a pathway for individuals to learn and master CNC Machining skills while earning a salary in a career that can lead to opportunities and advancement within the manufacturing industry. 
As a student and apprentice, you will rotate between attending classes and working at Southwire. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship program, you will be equipped with both hands-on and institutional knowledge of Machining and will be prepared be to assume a role as Machinist II. 

Southwire Machinist Apprenticeship Program includes the following commitments from you: 

•    The Machinist Apprenticeship Program requires a 2-year commitment to work and school. 
•    The ability to apply for technical school financial aid for applicable grants, scholarships prior to acceptance into the program.
