Role Description The Licensed Insurance Agent role at Bankable Equity is a hybrid position based in Houston, TX, with a mix of in-office and work-from-home responsibilities. In this role, the agent will consult with prospective and existing clients to understand their needs, present suitable insurance products, and provide guidance on coverage options and policy features. Day-to-day tasks include generating and following up on leads, conducting policy reviews, preparing quotes, processing applications, and maintaining accurate client records. The agent will collaborate with internal teams and insurance carriers, respond promptly to client inquiries, and ensure all activities comply with regulatory and company standards. This position requires consistent client outreach, professional communication, and a focus on meeting sales and service goals.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Insurance Sales and Insurance Brokerage, with the ability to explain complex products clearly and ethically.
  • Strong knowledge of Insurance products and regulations, including experience reviewing and managing policies for diverse client needs.
  • Background in Finance or related fields, with skills in assessing risk, analyzing coverage options, and supporting clientsโ€™ financial protection goals.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills, including active listening, problem-solving, and maintaining positive, professional client relationships.
  • Valid insurance license in the state of Texas (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe).
