To thrive as an Insurance Agent Trainee, you need a basic understanding of insurance products, strong sales aptitude, and typically a high school diploma or equivalent, with state-specific insurance licensing required. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software, quoting systems, and digital communication tools is beneficial.
