Position Description: Job Title: Accounting Assistant / Accounts ReceivablesReports to: Office ManagerLampton is looking for an energetic self-starter to become a valuable member of our Accounting Team.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• Daily Cash Deposits• Manage Customer Leases• Monitor Past Due Customer Balances• Process "Special Handling" invoices• Take customer calls to resolution
• Assist branches with customer questions/issues
• Enter Customer Adjustments into accounting software
• Process ACH and Credit card payments to Customer accounts
• Daily invoice processing• Set up new Online Billing when required, Process Online Billing as required by customersWhat will put you ahead:• Positive attitude and team approach to daily tasks – we cross train within the Accounting Team as well as help team members in other departments
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook is essential • Proven experience in an accounting support role – understanding of Accounts Receivable a must• Demonstrated attention to detail and the tenacity to resolve any issues• Ability to communicate clearly and thoroughly communicate AR information with customersSkills/Requirements:• Accurate data entry skills• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Excel• Must be able to work independently and ask questions when necessary• High school diploma
