Commercial Insurance Account Manager Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Insurance Account Manager responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, and ensuring client satisfaction. This role involves providing tailored solutions to meet clients' unique insurance needs through exemplary customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial insurance accounts, ensuring a positive client experience from onboarding to policy renewal.
  • Build and nurture relationships with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders to foster trust, loyalty, and long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with clients to assess their risk exposure, identify coverage needs, and recommend appropriate insurance products.
  • Prepare, review, and process insurance applications, renewals, endorsements, and other policy documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Liaise with underwriters and carriers to negotiate policy terms, premiums, and endorsements.
  • Provide regular policy reviews to ensure coverage aligns with clients' goals and evolving needs.
  • Assist clients in navigating claims processes, advocating for favorable outcomes as necessary.
  • Maintain thorough and organized records of client interactions, policy details, and correspondence.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, insurance products, and regulatory changes to provide informed guidance to clients.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field is preferred but not required. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as an account manager, customer service representative, or similar role in the insurance industry (preferably commercial insurance).
  • Licenses: Current Property & Casualty Insurance License is required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in insurance management software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Client-Focused: Strong aptitude for client relations and ability to provide exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
