We are seeking anAutoCAD Designer (Tapered Specialist)for our shared services Tapereddepartment in theAtlanta, GAoffice.

AutoCAD Designer Primary Responsibilities

Designs tapered roof insulation system layouts.

Determines material cost for tapered polyiso roof insulation systems.

Produces quotations, follow-up and sales of tapered roof insulation systems and products.

Develops working relationship with architects, contractors, distributors, private label accounts, and regional sales personnel.

Expands market share for tapered AC Foam through specification development of Gemini Products.

Deciphers architectural/contractor specifications and draining and determines appropriate design.

Meets or exceeds monthly gross sales budget and approved gross profit margin.

Conducts telephone inquiries with architects, contractors, consultants, distributors, and membrane manufacturers to gather appropriate information to establish project files.

Corresponds quotations for drawing to external customer for review and send drawings and product information for submissions.

Minimal travel may be required.

AutoCAD Designer Experience

Two (2) years minimum estimating and design of tapered roof insulation system and/or commercial roof application or sales of commercial roofing materials and systems.

AutoCAD Designer Education, Licenses & Certifications

Bachelor's degree or technical degree preferred; Engineering, Drafting, or related field; or equivalent experience is preferred.

AutoCAD Designer Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Basic working knowledge of CAD software; AutoCAD and Taper Plus highly desired.

Ability to read architectural plans and communicates effectively with architects.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and government regulations.

Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of manager, customers, employees, and general public.

Intermediate math skills (geometry)

Proficient in Word, Excel, email.

Ability to provide a high level of service to the customer.

Demonstrated ability to exercise effective time management and organizational skills.

Additional Information

Has a working knowledge of CAD software.

Has a design associated background such as landscape design, architectural design, interior design or industrial/product design.
