Job description

Atlas Roof & Wall Insulation, a division of Atlas Roofing Corporation, is seeking a District Sales Manager for the West Region of the United States which includes Idaho, Northern Colorado, Utah and Wyoming.
The District Sales Manager takes complete ownership of wall business opportunities in the market, identifies sales targets, develops, and execute sales strategies, plans, and activities designed to meet Atlas' sales revenue & profitability goals.
District Sales Manager Primary Responsibilities
  • Identify sales targets among builders, contractors, distributors and others who make insulation purchase decisions and promote Atlas EnergyShield products to them.
  • Aid in developing a strategic sales plan for the territory to prioritize opportunities, deliver information on Atlas EnergyShield and close sales leads.
  • Work closely with Atlas Architectural Sales Manager to pursue leads and provide feedback on job status.
  • Communicate effectively with Regional Sales Manager in local geography.
  • Develop, maintain and communicate an up-to-date tracking system of projects including current status through close of job.
  • Understand territory construction practices and their influence on insulation purchasing decisions.
  • Maintain a good understand of regional market-segments (Residential, Commercial, Panelizers, etc.) as it relates to wall insulation.
  • Understand applicable building codes in the assigned territory and their impact on purchase decisions.
  • Conduct training sessions for customers regarding product knowledge and services.
  • Understand competitive product set and adeptly communicate Atlas EnergyShield product placement and advantages.
  • Assess the competitive offering, pricing levels, new product potential, and market trends and offer feedback on each.
  • Prepare annual sales plans for the sales territory.
  • Advise on programs and incentives that would aid in business development.
  • Frequent air/automobile and overnight travel required.

District Sales Manager Experience
  • 5+ years' experience in sales and marketing in manufacturing/industrial industry

District Sales Manager Education, Licenses & Certifications
