EDAN Diagnostics, Inc. (www.edandiagnostics.com) is a San Diego, CA-based international medical instrument sales and service company looking to hire a sales representative to support our customers in the U.S., training is provided. If you are looking for a new and challenging career in a growing field and the opportunity to travel, this is the one.

Position Requirements:
1. U.S. citizenship with a valid passport or permanent residents with Associate/Bachelor Degree in Electronics, Bio-Sciences, Business, or related field in the U.S.

2. Previous experience in distribution sales preferred.

3. Strong communication skills.

4. Previous experience with cold-calling, and strategic prospecting required.

5. Adapt to a multi-cultural working environment.

6. Willing to travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact business (Hospitals, Medical Facilities, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, etc.) by telephone and email to promote products and solutions.
  • Solicit orders for products and services over the telephone.
  • Explain products and or services to potential customers over the telephone.
  • Develop new business accounts.
  • Plan & Execute campaigns with initiatives that lead to business growth.
  • Forge relationship with key personnel and decision makers.
  • Strategize comprehensive approach to cover customer needs in the areas of Sales, Services, and Logistics.
  • Perform business trips to present Edan product solutions, and provide product training.
  • Coordinate and deliver tradeshow attendance.

What would be nice to have?

  • Previous sales experience in the Medical Industry.
  • Previous experience, and or knowledge of medical diagnostic equipment.
  • Previous experience with Group Purchasing Organizations (Medical).
