Lead Pilates Instructor
Lead. Coach. Inspire. Elevate the Pilates Experience.
At Onelife Fitness, we're committed to delivering the ultimate fitness experience to every member, every time. We're looking for an experienced and passionate Lead Pilates Instructor to help shape an exceptional Pilates program by coaching instructors, driving studio performance, and creating an outstanding member experience.

What You'll Do
As the Lead Pilates Instructor, you'll serve as the on-site leader for the Pilates program, ensuring every class reflects the highest standards of instruction, consistency, and member engagement.
Lead Program Excellence
  • Deliver exceptional Pilates instruction that aligns with Onelife Fitness programming.
  • Maintain consistency across instructors, class formats, and member experiences.
  • Conduct class observations and provide coaching and performance feedback.
  • Champion best practices while protecting the integrity of the Pilates method and Onelife programming.

Coach & Develop Instructors
  • Lead onboarding and training for new Pilates instructors.
  • Conduct teach-backs, shadow sessions, and instructor evaluations.
  • Mentor instructors on coaching presence, cueing, corrections, class flow, and member engagement.
  • Identify development opportunities and create improvement plans to help instructors succeed.

Optimize Studio Operations
  • Partner with the Fitness Director to build schedules that maximize member demand and instructor coverage.
  • Support studio growth through strategic scheduling and capacity planning.
  • Help ensure smooth day-to-day studio operations.

Deliver an Exceptional Member Experience
  • Create a welcoming, high-energy, premium studio environment.
  • Build a strong Pilates community through exceptional service and engagement.
  • Resolve member concerns professionally while supporting member retention.
  • Foster consistency across every instructor and every class.

Drive Studio Performance
  • Support strategies that increase private training participation and overall studio revenue.
  • Monitor key performance indicators including:
    • Class attendance
    • Studio utilization
    • Instructor performance
  • Use performance insights to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Maintain Studio Excellence
  • Ensure studio cleanliness and equipment are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Support safety compliance and operational inspections.
  • Track studio performance metrics and maintain accountability for daily operations.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Comprehensive Pilates Certification (Reformer certification required; multi-apparatus certification preferred)
  • Current CPR/AED Certification
  • Experience teaching group Pilates classes
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, or mentoring experience
  • Passion for developing instructors and delivering an exceptional member experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Two or more years in a Lead or Senior Pilates Instructor role
  • Experience working in a multi-instructor studio environment
  • Knowledge of scheduling, studio utilization, and instructor performance metrics
  • Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
