Qualifications

Senior Instructional Designer needs 4+ years experience in designing complex instructional sound training programs using multiple delivery methods (instructor-led, computer-based, media-enhanced, etc.)


Senior Instructional Designer requires:

  • Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design principlesย 

  • Demonstrated competence with Adobe Creative Suite applications (i.e.
    Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Flash, Acrobat) and a wide variety of
    instructional design and development tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline,
    Captivate, Camtasia, etc.)
  • Strong design sense as demonstrated
    both in print materials and online learning examples Must be able to
    work closely with a team and also manage projects independently from
    analysis through evaluation
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience writing technical or medical content preferred.

Senior Instructional Designer duties;


  • designing
    highly interactive and task based technical training programs using
    multiple media and blended approaches (eLearning, instructor-led, job
    aids and on the job support tools)
  • developing learning
    objectives that align to strategic priorities; building collaborative
    and consultative relationships with subject matter experts, clients and
    peers; participating in defining and documenting learning needs
    assessment, data analysis, and recommended learning solutions; using raw
    content provided by subject matter experts to write scripts,
    storyboards, and design documents;
  • creating assessments that align to course objectives;
  • describing
    and documenting key concepts behind evaluation of learning
    effectiveness and determining impact of learning measurements
