Help shape how design delivers at scale across a global organization. Join our Experience Design team to drive operational excellence, stronger collaboration, and consistently high-quality user experiences across Corporate and Investment Bank Operations.

As a Senior Associate Design Program Manager within Experience Design (XD) for Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) Operations Experience Design (OXD), you will lead delivery for complex programs and enable the design organization to operate efficiently and predictably. You will partner closely with design leads, product, technology, and finance/business management to align resources with strategic priorities, strengthen governance, and increase delivery transparency. In this role, you will enhance ways of working across teams by scaling effective practices, managing risks, and promoting adoption of tools and approaches (including AI and automation) that improve both quality and speed of delivery.

Job responsibilities

  • Oversee delivery for assigned portfolios/programs, partnering with design and product leads to align XD capacity and priorities
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and scalable ways of working, increasing visibility of design delivery and improving team efficiency
  • Partner with finance and business management to support portfolio governance, resource allocation, and prioritization
  • Produce executive-ready reporting on status, outcomes, risks/issues, and financials; drive timely escalation and resolution
  • Embed quality and efficiency mechanisms into the design and product development lifecycle in partnership with product and engineering
  • Identify and pilot tool/process improvements (including AI and automation), sharing learnings and standardizing successful practices
  • Develop and maintain reusable standards (SOPs, templates, playbooks) and support engagement/communication to sustain team health

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience leading operational improvements and change initiatives across multi-disciplinary, globally distributed teams
  • Working knowledge of UX disciplines and user-centered methods, tools, and workflows
  • Experience partnering with finance/business management stakeholders in complex, regulated environments
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills across varied seniority levels
  • Demonstrated ability to champion best practices and improve cross-functional collaboration and delivery outcomes
  • Proficiency with program/project tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and productivity suites (e.g., Microsoft Office)
  • Familiarity with design and AI-assisted tools (e.g., Figma, GitHub Copilot) and the aptitude to evaluate and integrate emerging tools

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience supporting the end-to-end product development lifecycle
  • Knowledge of current design industry trends and evolving best practices
  • Strong facilitation skills, including workshops, decisioning, and alignment forums
  • Project Management or Agile/Scrum certification (or equivalent experience)
