Job description

We're looking for a Brazilian Portuguese Localization & Learning Content Specialist to translate, localize, and quality-check business and sales-enablement learning content.
Remote | Full-Time Contractor | 2 Months
Key Responsibilities
  • Review and refine AI-pretranslated content in Smartcat for accuracy, fluency, grammar, tone, and natural expression.
  • Apply approved terminology consistently across skills, decisions, products, and specialized terminology.
  • Maintain a conversational, evidence-based, commercially sharp voice.
  • Adapt buyer-as-hero and "you" language naturally for Brazilian audiences.
  • Rebuild finalized translations in existing PowerPoint decks and Articulate Rise modules.
  • Test and repair animations, transitions, triggers, timing, and build sequences.
  • Resolve layout issues caused by Portuguese text expansion.
  • Perform light image/screenshot text edits in PowerPoint.
  • Deliver assets in a fully presentation-ready state.
  • Collaborate with the internal team and other contractors, working independently against milestones and participating in 1-2 weekly check-ins.

Required Profile
  • Native-level Brazilian Portuguese with excellent professional/B2B writing skills.
  • Strong English reading and collaboration skills.
  • Proven experience in business, sales-enablement, corporate learning, or professional localization.
  • Comfortable working with terminology glossaries and style guides.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills, including the Animation Pane and animation repair.
  • Experience with Articulate Rise or similar authoring tools.
  • Strong attention to layout, typography, and visual presentation.
  • Reliable overlap with Eastern Time (GMT-4) / Central European business hours.

Nice to have: localization QA experience with animated/interactive presentations and B2B sales-enablement experience.
