PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Under the direction of the Operations & Construction Manager, the Millwright is responsible for repairs, maintenance and installation of grain equipment.  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Install, repair or replace defective parts, using hand tools, welding equipment and other necessary machines.
  • Maintain trucks, equipment/tools needed to conduct daily business, to ensure all is in good working order.
  • Perform mechanical repairs as required
  • Perform electrical repairs as required
  • Perform hydraulic repairs as required
  • Climb and work from heights
  • Successfully communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Successfully adhere to safety rules and company policies and procedures. EHS, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures must be adhered to at all times
REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof, and 3 years of related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, and hydraulic systems and the ability to understand layout plans, blueprints and electrical schematics is recommended. Proficient in welding and working with hand and power tools. Knowledge of grain equipment including but not limited to: grain legs, conveyors, towers, catwalks, grain bins, and grain dryers. Valid driver's license is required.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law.  In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
