GENERAL SUMMARY:
Are you motivated by helping others and driven by tangible results? We’re looking for a dynamic professional to join our team in a role that blends carpentry skills with problem solving and project leadership.
In this position, you’ll play a key part in home modification projects geared toward aging in place. From widening doors and shower/tub conversions to the service and repair of mobility products and equipment. This is an opportunity to make a real difference—helping individuals with mobility challenges regain their freedom and independence.
CORE FUNCTIONS:
  • Provides installation, service, repair and instruction of use for mobility products and equipment
  • Installation of ramps, vertical platform lifts, patient lifts, grab bars, auto lifts, elevators and other related products
  • Evaluates the customers environment for effective means for installation of mobility products
  • Assist with home remodeling for ease of access for disabled persons
  • Schedules service calls and deliveries based on work orders
  • Contacts customers through the phone and in person to provide technical service support
  • Thoroughly trains customers how to use the product(s) in a safe manner
  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints
  • Coordinates daily work efforts with all aspects of the organization
  • Maintains warehouse inventory in an organized and efficient manner
  • Identifies and adheres to safe workplace practices and observance of OSHA and fire regulations
  • Safely load equipment in an orderly and secure manner in accordance with policies
  • Transport products in a company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner, adhering to all traffic laws
  • Utilizes the proprietary operating system to record customer interactions, upload pictures and other related paperwork, set and review scheduled appointments
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
  • Must possess 2+ years of experience in contracting or carpentry related work
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment.
  • Mechanical and technical ability with electronics and installation and servicing of products
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem‐solving
  • Must be results‐orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends
Preferred:
  • Experience in equipment installation, repair, or maintenance.
  • Familiarity with electrical or plumbing systems.
  • Previous experience in customer-facing roles, demonstrating professionalism and communication skills.
  • Background in accessibility solutions, remodeling, or specialty installations.
