SUMMARY OF ROLE:
The Installer Assistant supports company operations by performing all tasks at the customers' home/worksite, as determined in the scope of work and under the direction of the Installers, Lead Installers, and Carpenters. These duties and necessary functions whether construction or demolition are to be performed safely, professionally, and in a timely manner to meet our customer's expectations and provide excellent customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES, including but not limited to:
  1. Work independently or as a team to provide service as laid out in the scope of work by assisting Installers, Lead Installers, and Carpenters.
  2. Roll out and put away tools, cords, and materials daily on each work site.
  3. Clean up all areas affected by the installation and perform maintenance on all Company tools and equipment used daily on work sites. Ensure all debris is loaded into a dump truck or waste collection unit.
  4. Secure and lock up tools, equipment, and site at the end of the workday.
  5. Complete and assist Carpenter in basic tasks such as demo and temporary facilities as directed by Owner.
  6. Secure all equipment and tools in their proper place and organized according to Foreman instructions and keep all storage areas and shop clean and orderly.
  7. Anticipate task problems and inform the Installer or Carpenter of any issues with completing the task.
  8. Sustains a work environment that builds positive professional relationships and demonstrates excellent customer service. Consistently demonstrates a commitment to complete scope of work.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills that positively benefit interaction with other team members and homeowners/clients.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
  • Must be detailed oriented, able to plan, prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High School degree or equivalent
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check, including a clean driving record, and other pre-employment screening.
  • Able to lift & carry items up to 75 lbs.
  • Frequently move the whole body to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, carrying, pushing, pulling the handling of materials.
  • Stoop, kneel, and crouch in awkward positions.

Compensation: $18.00 per hour
