What You’ll Do

As an HVAC Install Assistant, you'll work alongside experienced HVAC Installers and help complete residential heating and cooling system installations safely, efficiently, and professionally.

You will:

  • Assist with the installation of residential air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits, thermostats, and related HVAC equipment
  • Help prepare equipment, materials, tools, and jobsites for installation
  • Assist with removing existing HVAC equipment
  • Transport and organize equipment, materials, and tools
  • Learn proper HVAC installation techniques and procedures
  • Assist with equipment replacements, upgrades, and new installations
  • Follow instructions from Lead Installers and experienced team members
  • Learn how to identify and troubleshoot basic installation issues
  • Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards
  • Keep jobsites clean, safe, and organized
  • Protect customers' homes and property while work is being performed
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with homeowners
  • Help ensure customers receive an exceptional experience from start to finish
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles
  • Complete required job documentation as assigned
  • Represent the One Hour brand with professionalism, reliability, and integrity
