Job description


The Tool Install Project Manager will work as a Client Representative and have a background in industrial manufacturing facilities specific to semiconductor equipment installation. This role requires experience in managing advanced technology manufacturing equipment installation, and the ability to contribute to the success of our projects and client's needs.
This position is based on site in Santa Clara, CA
Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Client's Tool Installation Procedures, Protocol and Systems to support the continuous improvement of Client-specific Technical Infrastructure business practices/ operations and business needs.
  • Responsible to interface and align/coordinate with the requirements of the Client's Tool/ Equipment Engineers to support the needs of the Client's requirements. This will enable the Client's Tool/ Equipment Engineers to focus on business priorities with the Tool Install Manager focused on Tool Installation to support their needs.
  • Responsible for managing scope, schedule and budget for current and proposed future Tool Install Ramps while managing EHS metrics in line with the Client's business expectations.
  • Responsible for providing Progress Reports to include RISK metrics/ mitigation and progress, schedule and cost performance KPIs and Planned V's Actual forecasts.
  • As Client's Representation, responsible for all aspects of the Client's Tool Install with the support of the Client's extended support Team including Procurement and Leadership (Escalation).

The salary offered for this role is between $117,000 and $157,000, but the actual salary offered is dependent on experience, skill set, and education.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Technical degree in a relevant field and related experience with a proven history of success.
  • Direct experience managing scope, schedule, and budget, interfacing with Tool Owners, Equipment Engineers, A&E, GC and Trades contractors for semiconductor tool install projects.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience in semiconductor Tool Install Project Management roles with effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
