About the Role
As our HVAC Install Lead, you'll take ownership of residential HVAC installations from start to finish. You'll lead installation crews, mentor helpers to ensure every job meets code and manufacturer specifications, while delivering exceptional customer experience.
This position reports directly to the General Manager and is ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, enjoys leading others, and wants to be rewarded for high-quality work.
What You'll Do
  • Lead complete residential HVAC system installations, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, attic systems, vertical splits, ductwork, and related equipment
  • Supervise, train, and mentor installation helpers.
  • Perform equipment startup, testing, and commissioning to ensure proper system operation
  • Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications, local mechanical codes, and company quality standards
  • Communicate with dispatch, management, and team members to keep projects on schedule
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by maintaining professionalism and keeping homeowners informed throughout the installation
  • Complete work orders, inspection reports, and installation documentation accurately
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, equipment, and truck inventory
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Participate in ongoing technical and safety training
What We're Looking For
  • 4+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
  • Previous experience leading installation crews or serving as a lead installer
  • EPA Universal Certification (required)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals
  • Commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Positive and strong work ethic
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Service Titan experience is a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
