We are looking for an experienced HVAC Lead Install Technician to join our growing team.

Job Summary

The HVAC Lead Install Technician is responsible for leading residential and commercial HVAC equipment installations, replacements, and retrofits. In this role, you will interact directly with customers, install complete systems to code, and ensure all newly installed equipment operates at peak efficiency.

Key Responsibilities & Essential Duties
  • Customer Service: Meet with homeowners/business owners to assess job specs, explain installation processes, and ensure 100% customer satisfaction.

  • System Installation: Execute standard processes for installing, configuring, and replacing HVAC units, heat pumps, furnaces, air handlers, and air conditioners.

  • Ductwork & Sheet Metal: Install round and rectangular ductwork, sheet metal fittings, and equipment accessories.

  • Property Protection: Maintain a clean work environment using protective measures (drop cloths, shoe covers) to keep customer property undamaged.

  • Technical Tasks: Perform brazing, line set testing, platform building, and simple low-voltage electrical connections.

  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, OSHA standards, and local building codes.

Qualifications & RequirementsMinimum Qualifications:
  • Experience: Proven experience as an HVAC Lead Installer or Senior Install Technician.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications: EPA Universal Certification or NATE Certification preferred.

  • Strong proficiency in sheet metal fabrication and custom fitting adjustments.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Proficient in brazing, soldering, and refrigerant line testing.

  • Ability to measure, fabricate, and install ductwork accurately.

  • Clear verbal and written communication skills to guide customers and helper technicians.

  • Strong time management skills with a proven track record of meeting daily turnover deadlines.

  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions
