Job description

Plumbing Install Manager


PV Heating, Cooling & Plumbing – Atlanta’s PREMIER residential HVAC and Plumbing Company is seeking a highly experienced Plumbing Install Manager to lead our field crews, ensure top-tier quality control, and manage complex installation and repair projects. This role requires hands-on expertise, the ability to train and support technicians, and a strong working knowledge of trench safety, leak detection, and state plumbing codes.

Our ideal candidate is someone who

  • Has a minimum 10 years of plumbing experience, including installation and repair.
  • Is proficient with Excavators, Jetting Machines, Camera Locating/Line Tracing, Leak Detection Systems, Lining Systems (LR3, Inversion, Pipe Patching).
  • Is organized, dependable, and proactive in planning ahead.
  • Is a skilled trainer that is hands on and leads by example by building stronger technicians, not babysit them!


What you’ll be doing

  • Oversee daily installation operations and manage multiple crews in the field.
  • Assist crews hands-on with repairs, installations, and complex troubleshooting.
  • Independently perform repair work when needed, including leak detection and excavation.
  • Maintain strict quality control standards and ensure all work complies with plumbing codes.
  • Organize and prepare crews for upcoming jobs, including tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Operate equipment such as excavators, jetting machines, camera inspection systems, and tracing tools.
  • Perform and oversee lining methods (LR3, inversion, or pipe patching).
  • Ensure safe trenching procedures and compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Provide weekly training sessions to improve crew skills, safety, and code compliance.
  • Participate in on-call rotation, Monday–Sunday

  • Proven experience in trench safety and deep excavation work.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and job documentation.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and quality-control focus.
  • Ability to manage crews, train staff, and support field operations independently.

Physical Requirements

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
