Job description

Metric Engineering is currently looking for a CEI Inspector’s Aide to work in the Central Florida/Kissimmee area! The Inspector’s Aide will be responsible for reporting and documentation of construction progress and reporting pertinent information to the CEI Senior Inspector.
Day-to-day:
  • Performs basic contract administration functions for transportation projects.
  • Works closely with the Senior Inspector to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Reads and comprehends contract documents.
  • Maintains daily project diary.
  • Assist in the review and comments on project drawings.
  • Coordinate directly with contractors and field inspection staff to ensure all project activities are monitored.
What you should bring:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Adobe programs
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
