Head of Marketing

Lassie, Inc

San Francisco, CA โ€ข On-site

Full-time

Re-posted 25 days ago

Job description

Our mission is to help small businesses run themselves. We're starting with doctors' offices, building autonomous systems that handle busywork and complete the workflows that keep the office moving every day. Our team is small, flat, and ambitious. We value craft, intellectual rigor, and direct communication.
About the role
As Lassie's Head of Marketing, you'll be responsible for turning customer love into compounding, revenue-accountable demand. You'll connect product, data, marketing, sales, and customer insight to crack the message and build the repeatable, scalable channels that help Lassie reach far more doctors' offices efficiently.
This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build Lassie's marketing engine from the ground up. You'll work directly with the founders, who bring deep experience building and scaling growth systems.
What you'll do
  • Own Lassie's demand-generation system, with qualified demos booked as your north star and ARR and payback as guardrails
  • Crack the message and positioning through customer insight, sales calls, data, and systematic experimentation
  • Personally find and prove creative, predictable, and scalable growth channels
  • Turn what's working into repeatable systems, then build a lean, AI-native team around them
  • Own the execution of brand and product marketing in partnership with the founders

What we're looking for
  • You have a demonstrated track record of finding and scaling revenue-generating growth channels
  • You've worked at an early-stage startup and are comfortable personally doing the work before building a team around it
  • You're a natural seller and message crafter: you can pitch a product, write copy that converts, and make an audience feel understood
  • You think from first principles, generate unconventional ideas, and ship enough experiments to discover what works
  • You bring rigor and numeracy: you know your metrics, can explain exactly why something worked, and can replicate it in a different context
  • You already use AI tools daily to build, automate, and operate, and you're excited to rethink distribution and growth strategy from the ground up
  • You're fiercely competitive and want to build a company that wins its category

Joining us
To start, you'll have a handful of conversations with our team and founders. If there is mutual excitement, we'll invite you to the office where you'll work on a small project and meet the team.
