This role sits at the intersection of operations strategy, business insight, and cross-regional leadership - turning operational signals into clear priorities, scalable frameworks, and aligned execution..
The Program Manager, DC Operations will be a key analytical and strategic voice within Apple's Distribution Center operations. This role sits at the intersection of data, storytelling, and operational excellence - transforming complex, ambiguous problems into clear insights that inform decisions at the highest levels of the organization.This is a role for someone who thrives in fast-moving, undefined environments. You will build and own analytics frameworks that bring visibility to DC performance, surface operational trends, and identify opportunities for improvement. You'll translate raw data into compelling narratives for leadership, and then roll up your sleeves to drive those insights into action.Success in this role requires equal parts intellectual curiosity and interpersonal agility. You'll work across a global network of partners, teams, and stakeholders - bridging time zones, functions, and perspectives to move work forward without always having a clear roadmap. You are a self-starter who doesn't wait to be asked, and a communicator who makes complexity feel simple.
BA/BS in Supply Chain, Operations, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or distribution center operationsDemonstrated ability to work with large datasets and derive insights using analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) or AI-assisted coding environments (e.g., Claude, Copilot, or equivalent) - the ability to formulate the right questions and validate outputs matters more than writing code from scratchExperience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent).Experience building and presenting executive-level slide decks (Keynote, PowerPoint, or equivalent).Demonstrated experience managing or contributing to cross-functional programs or projects.
MBA or MS in Supply Chain, Operations Research, Data Science, or a related fieldExperience working within distribution center, fulfillment, or warehouse operations environments.Familiarity with Apple's supply chain or operations ecosystem, or comparable experience at a large-scale global technology or retail companyExperience with machine learning, forecasting, or optimization techniques applied to operations problemsDemonstrated ability to build trusted relationships across global teams and time zones, with strong cultural awareness and interpersonal intelligence.
