Position Summary: 

The Lead, Sales Performance & Insights is strategic, business-facing role responsible for equipping the sales organization with the tools, intelligence, and support needed to accelerate revenue growth and reduce the cost of sales.  This leader delivers forward-looking insights, drives continuous improvement, and works directly with senior leadership to identify and capture growth opportunities.

This role reports to Sr. Leader, Sales Effectiveness & Operations.

Role Specifics:

Sales Performance & Analytics

  • Proactively monitors sales performance and delivers predictive analysis on sales, planning, and budgeting data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Leads pipeline and forecast analysis, identifying gaps including dormant accounts, declining trends, and share-of-account opportunities.
  • Delivers key sales reporting (daily, weekly, monthly) and ad hoc analysis to support leadership reviews.
  • Provides performance insights at the rep, region, and account level and recommend actions to improve results.
  • Ensures CRM data integrity and champion data quality across the sales organization.

Continuous Improvement & Process

  • Leads the development and management of a sales continuous improvement program covering systems, methodology, training, and communications.
  • Identifies and prioritizes process improvement opportunities in collaboration with sales leadership.
  • Facilitates the implementation of new programs and initiatives across the sales organization.

Technology & Tools

  • Leads the optimization of sales technology tools and leverage insights from those platforms to drive sales force effectiveness.
  • Applies knowledge of CRM, ERP, and data analytics platforms (Power BI, Tableau) to elevate organizational capability.

Communications

  • Partners with Sales Leadership and Talent Development to design and execute a sales training plan that builds and reinforces critical selling competencies.
  • Reviews and approves internal sales communications to ensure all materials are on-brand, insightful, and actionable.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Leads and influences across a matrixed organization, building strong partnerships with internal stakeholders.
  • Supports the sales organization in the S&OP process, providing performance context, market intelligence, and inventory insight.
  • Leads the development of the IT roadmap to the sales organization.

Training & Compliance

  • Ensures individual personal adherence to TireHub policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Participates and maintains ongoing training requirements through in-person, virtual or computer-based learning modules as assigned.
  • Completes other tasks assigned by their supervisor or another member of Leadership, as requested.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Data Science, Data Analytics, or related field preferred.
  • 7-10 years of progressive experience in sales & marketing.
  • 5+ years in data analytics and predictive analytics roles.
  • 2+ years of tire industry sales and inventory experience.
  • 2+ years of category management experience
  • Demonstrated experience in sales training and communications development.
  • Experience managing vendor and supplier relationships.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Data Analytics tools knowledge (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM, ERP (Prophet 21 preferred), and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
  • Working knowledge of eCommerce platforms.

Working Conditions:

  • Fast-paced and dynamic operating environment requires adaptability.
  • Majority of time is spent sitting, constantly viewing monitors in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move around. There may be occasions to move or lift light articles.
  • Occasional extended hours may be required during peak periods.
  • This role reports to TireHub headquarters office in Dunwoody, GA and requires a strong in-person presence.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% for training, conferences, or other company locations as needed.
