Part-Time Inside Sales Representative

Position Summary
Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a motivated and detail oriented Part-Time Inside Sales Representative to support customer engagement, sales support, and order management activities. This position is ideal for someone looking for a flexible schedule while contributing to customer satisfaction and business growth.
Schedule: Part-Time (Up to 30 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Relations
  • Respond to incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Provide prompt and professional service to existing and prospective customers.
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships.

Sales Support & Order Management
  • Qualify sales opportunities and customer needs.
  • Provide product recommendations and information.
  • Prepare quotes and process customer orders accurately.
  • Assist in ensuring timely delivery of products and services.

Vendor Coordination
  • Communicate with vendors regarding product availability, pricing, applications, and delivery schedules.
  • Support sourcing efforts to meet customer requirements.

Sales Collaboration
  • Work closely with Account Managers and internal teams to support sales initiatives.
  • Assist with identifying new customer opportunities and business development efforts.

Product Knowledge
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of IPS products, vendor offerings, and industry solutions.
  • Stay informed on competitive products and services.

Administrative & Operational Support
  • Assist with customer account setup and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate customer and order records.
  • Provide additional administrative support as needed.

• Provide occasional after-hours support as business needs require.
Professionalism & Safety
  • Represent IPS professionally in all customer and vendor interactions.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Competencies
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree, bachelor's degree, or relevant coursework preferred.

Experience
  • Previous experience in customer service, inside sales, distribution, or a related field preferred.
  • Entry-level candidates with strong customer service skills are encouraged to apply.

Skills & Abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience with CRM systems is a plus.
