Job description

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving business growth by supporting the sales organization through lead generation, demand creation, pipeline development, and customer engagement initiatives across the U.S. for the SMB Team. This role will partner with and support the Regional Sales Managers (RSM's) to gain knowledge of the region's SMB customer base, the industry, regional markets, and competition to identify and pursue opportunities for growth. This role will support the development of strategies to gain new customers and to identify ways to grow existing assigned accounts.  Collaborate across different functions (marketing, sales, product development, pricing, etc.) to define a long-term roadmap for reaching and securing new customers helping drive POS activity through our Distribution

The salary range for this position is ($65000-80000). The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

This role is INCENTIVE eligible

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow-up on cold and warm leads to support the sales process. Focus on identifying potential new customers, engaging clients through phone, email, and video calls to gauge and understand their needs for hand-off to RSM's or direct pursuit.
  • Partner with each RSM to own growth targets, maintain current customer base and manage strategies for Distribution channel.
  • Develop and execute strategic outreach plans to engage prospective customers, generate qualified opportunities, and support pipeline forecasting activities.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with assigned customers to develop and grow Honeywell's wallet-share.
  • Manage and support the RSM team for:
  • CPR/Discount opportunity actions, helping close within 6-month time frame
  • Mine and distribute new projects leads from construction databases (ConstructConnect, Dodge, etc.) for identified verticals (K-12, multi-family, healthcare, etc.)
  • Route and assign Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL's) to the appropriate RSM for follow-up and conversion
  • Coordinate and schedule Lunch & Learn sessions, product training, customer presentations, and sales meetings
  • Manage, track, and report sales activities and opportunities through enterprise CRM platforms to ensure pipeline accuracy and visibility.
  • Support channel partners with E-commerce training, MyHBU walkthroughs, orders escalations, lead-time inquiries, etc.
  • Be the conduit with other functions to help prevent and resolve customer problems & eliminate barriers to sales (Credit, Orders, Technical/Application Expertise)
  • Support the development and execution of annual STRAP (Strategic Plan) and AOP (Annual Operating Plan) objectives for the SMB portfolio.
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, competitive offerings, emerging technologies, industry standards, regulations, and economic trends.
  • Prepare sales reports, pipeline analyses, and business insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Provide ongoing support to the commercialization and growth initiatives of the SMB business.

Responsible for achievement of Order/Revenue Sales AOP Targets.
