Business Development Representative (Sales BDC)

We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Business Development Representative (BDC) to join our Sales Business Development team. This role is critical to our dealership's growth and customer experience and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-based environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound and outbound sales leads via phone, text, email, and CRM
  • Set and confirm showroom appointments for the Sales team
  • Respond to internet, phone, and third-party leads quickly and professionally
  • Build value, overcome objections, and maintain control of the conversation
  • Follow up consistently with unsold prospects and missed opportunities
  • Accurately log all activity in the CRM
  • Work closely with Sales Managers to drive showroom traffic and results
Qualifications
  • Strong phone presence and communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and professionally
  • Highly organized with excellent follow-up discipline
  • Comfortable with accountability, goals, and performance metrics
  • Prior automotive BDC, sales, call center, or inside sales experience preferred

Work Environment
  • This position requires schedule flexibility
  • Some evening shifts up to 8:00 PM
  • Some weekend availability (rotating schedules may apply)
  • Regular use of phones, computers, and office equipment
Physical Demands
  • Extended periods of sitting, typing, and phone communication
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching
  • Ability to lift/move up to 15 lbs (files, promotional materials)
  • Close vision and attention to detail required
