Master Halco: Fence & Deck Supply, North America’s leading manufacturer/distributor of fence and deck products is seeking an Inside Sales Associate.

Inside Sales Associate:
The Inside Sales Associates work on the phone and at our branch's counter desk to service contractors, distributors, and retailers purchasing fence products.
Inside Sales Associate's daily expectations include:
  • Discovery conversations with existing customers and prospective customers to identify products and services that Master Halco can provide to grow their business.
  • Calling the current customers by phone to generate orders for delivery on scheduled delivery routes and to inform customers of specials and sales promotions.
  • Work as a team with other sales and operations people to hit sales goals and earn bonuses and spiffs.
  • Excellence with phone sales, computer entry, and customer-facing engagement.

Desired sales experience or applicable product knowledge:
  • Building materials: metals, woods, plastics, hardware.
  • Do-It-Yourself retail.
  • Construction.
  • Mechanical/Electrical.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the outside sales team to expand products and customer base.
  • Collects market intelligence from customers regarding competitive situations, competitor pricing, market situations, and informs the Branch Manager.
  • Take inbound phone calls and emails from contractors and retail customers to process quotes and orders in a timely manner.
  • Consult with clients/customers after sales to provide ongoing support.
  • Prepares job order quotations based on customer requests and information.
  • Communicate by phone or email with customers from the time of order to the time of shipment.

Qualifications:
  • High School graduate or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years of customer service/sales experience.
  • Excellent phone and customer-facing experience.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
  • Computer literate and proficient in MS applications (EXCEL required).
