Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your responsibilities will encompass a range of therapeutic activities dedicated to supporting our teen and young adult clientele. Specific duties include:

  • Group Therapy Sessions: Lead engaging and supportive group therapy sessions, encouraging participants to share experiences and learn collectively.
  • Individual Counseling: Provide tailored, empathetic counseling sessions, assisting clients in exploring their feelings and identifying coping strategies.
  • Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop and implement individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans customized to their unique circumstances.
  • Progress Evaluation: Monitor and assess the ongoing development and mental wellness of clients, utilizing various tools and feedback mechanisms.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Engage with a team of professionals, ensuring seamless coordination of care and discussion of complex cases to achieve optimal outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 navigating various mental health challenges in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). You will work with clients facing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, and stress management, employing evidence-based practices to guide them toward recovery.

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you must hold a valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification from the state of Arizona. Additionally, a Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
