Are you a skilled Mechanical Engineer looking for a dynamic role that blends innovative design with hands-on problem-solving? As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of exciting projects, from developing custom electromechanical equipment and robotics to designing structures, workstations, and equipment mounting solutions. You'll collaborate with engineers and project managers, lead and mentor team members, and bring concepts to life through a mix of computer-aided design and real-world implementation.

This role offers variety, with work taking place in the office, shop, and at customer sites, ensuring no two days are the same. With a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, you'll have the chance to make a tangible impact while growing your expertise. Flexibility is key, as occasional travel and overtime may be required—but overnight stays are infrequent.   • Perform Mechanical 3D design, 2D drawings, component specification, assembly, and documentation for custom machines, systems, and products as assigned
  • Recognize and pursue additional business opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Verify that end products meet the project scope, budget, quality standards, and needs of customers
  • Develop and maintain a Bill of Materials (BOM) for projects as assigned
  • Interpret and create schematic drawings, layouts, and other engineering documentation
  • Recognize and communicate design changes to Engineers and Project Management that are not included in the Scope of Work or active Change Orders
  • Manage and supervise assigned personnel and ensure effective performance management

Working Conditions

  • Walk / use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or tools / reach with hands and arms / climb ladders and stairs / crawl / kneel
  • Sit, talk, listen, observe, read, write, and type
  • Perform work on site in industrial and commercial locations

  • 5+ years’ relevant mechanical or engineering work experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required, Mechanical Engineering degree preferred
  • Passing FE (Fundamental Engineering Exam) or equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • Must be willing to attend training and remain updated regarding industry standards
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret, define, and edit scope of work
