Job description

Imagine what you could do here. At Apple, new ideas have a way of becoming outstanding
products, services, and customer experiences very quickly. Bring passion and dedication to your job, and there's no telling what you could accomplish.
Apple's Sales organization generates the revenue needed to fuel our ongoing development of
products and services, enriching the lives of hundreds of millions of people around the world. In many ways, we are the face of Apple to our largest enterprise customers.
The Innovation Lab helps top-tier customers and partners build groundbreaking applications on Apple platforms using emerging technologies like AI and Spatial Computing. We are looking for a SWIFT Engineer to join the team as a hands-on technical expert who guides others to
build exceptional AI experiences on iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and visionOS.
In this role you will shape how the world's leading organizations design and ship AI-powered
apps on Apple platforms. Your work spans two modes: building sample projects, reference
implementations, and art-of-the-possible demos that showcase what is achievable, and
partnering directly with customer engineering teams as a trusted technical voice that guides
their implementations.
Description
Consult & Architect: Dive deep into our customers’ technical landscapes. Analyze their challenges, map out available technologies, and design thoughtful, actionable solutions that drive mutually agreed-upon outcomes.
Build & Innovate: Maintain and enhance the Innovation Lab's technical infrastructure. You will build and deliver high-impact, hands-on demonstrations showcasing the latest in emerging AI and Spatial Computing capabilities.
Evangelize Best Practices: Act as a trusted advisor to technical teams at leading global organizations, sharing expert guidance on the development, integration, and deployment of AI-powered enterprise applications.
Lead with Empathy: Approach every customer interaction with deep curiosity, a customer-centric mindset, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams to consistently deliver excellent outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Apple's AI/ML stack, including the Foundation Models framework, Core ML, and MLX, and how to apply each to the right problem.
Hands-on experience developing for visionOS using RealityKit and ARKit, or strong interest in Spatial Computing.
A broad understanding of common enterprise technologies, leading ecosystem solutions, and complex integration workflows.
Genuinely curious about AI and ML, with a habit of staying current on new models, techniques, and tools.
Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and partner cross-functionally across business, product, design, and engineering teams.
Self-directed, detail-oriented, and effective in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
Minimum Qualifications
BS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) and 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience
Hands-on experience developing high-quality native applications for Apple platforms using Swift, SwiftUI, and modern Apple frameworks.
Proven track record building AI-powered applications, with hands-on experience integrating LLMs, deploying on-device ML models, and applying related techniques such as prompt design, evaluation, and agentic workflows.
Strong software engineering fundamentals, with a track record of shipping production systems built on clean, robust, and maintainable code.
Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn and apply new concepts, technologies, and tools.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
