Job Description:

Summary:

The Freedom Media Innovation Lab Assistant will support participants' onboarding, including tracking confirmations, collecting materials, and coordinating logistics (travel, tech access, accessibility needs).

Essential Functions:

  • Assist with program communications, including drafting emails, reminders, and session materials.

  • Coordinate logistics for hybrid sessions (Zoom setup, in-room support, materials preparation, attendance tracking).

  • Help manage application data, participant records, and program documentation.

  • Conduct light research on speakers, mentors, and media innovation trends as needed.

  • Assist in preparing program materials (slides, templates, resource guides, and evaluation forms).

  • Provide real-time support during Thursday evening sessions (July 2, 9, 16, 23).

  • Support post-session follow-up, including surveys, notes, and deliverable tracking.

  • Contribute to planning for Phase 2 (venture competition) and Phase 3 (incubation support).

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

  • Part-time.

  • 10 hours per week.

Salary Range:

  • $18.40 per hour.
