Job description

InnoTECH Staffing is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and validation of electrical systems and circuitry for complex products. This role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on design experience, and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams from concept through production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and review electrical circuits and systems, including analog, digital, power, and mixed-signal designs

  • Create schematics, support PCB layout, and oversee design for manufacturability (DFM/DFx)

  • Perform testing, debugging, validation, and failure analysis of electrical designs

  • Develop and execute verification and validation plans to ensure compliance with requirements and standards

  • Collaborate with mechanical, software, firmware, and manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle

  • Support prototype builds, production ramp, and sustaining engineering activities

  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and ECOs

  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical decision-making and design reviews

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

  • 6+ years of experience in electrical engineering design and development

  • Strong experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools

  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, etc.)

  • Solid understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles

  • Experience with product development from concept through production

Preferred Qualifications
  • Batchelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, MS a plus

  • Experience in regulated industries (medical devices)

  • Knowledge of EMC/EMI, safety standards, and compliance testing

  • Experience working in start-up or high-growth environments
