Job description

InnoTECH Staffing is looking to hire a fulltime / permanent Senior Product Development Engineer / Scientist for an advanced materials late stage start-up company in the Greater Boston area.

Candidates must be able to work onsite 5 days a week and must be a US Citizen or Greencard holder.

We are looking for a Senior Product Development Engineer/Scientist to join our talented and diverse technical team.

This position will focus on developing new platform technologies for environmental protection and implementing at our customers around the world.

About this role
M.S. or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or
Electrical Engineering or associated technical field.

Responsibilities for this role include:
● Developing functional materials, test methods, and implementation solutions for addressing environmental protection of electric vehicles, ADAS systems, and consumer electronics.
● Maintaining project plans, timelines, and deliverables for staying accountable on product launch strategy.
● Communicating technical advances and project strategy internally across a global team comprising technical team members and sales.
● Working autonomously on open-ended projects ranging from new coating development to creation of novel application techniques.
● Expanding Company's intellectual property portfolio by innovating on current or new coatings and application technology.
● Serving as the subject matter expert on coatings under development and participating in developing strategy for implementing coating solutions for customers.
● Collaborating effectively with various functions within Company like sales, technical services, manufacturing, and operations on new product launch.
● Mentoring technicians and co-ops on execution of experiments towards coating development.

Previous industry or research experience development of coatings preferred.

Fluency in Mandarin, Spanish, or German is preferred but not required.
Candidates must be legally allowed to work in the US.

** International and domestic travel is required. Approx 1 trip per quarter.

Salary is up to $130K base plus full benefits including health, dental, vacation, holidays, paid paternal leave etc.
