Job Duties and Responsibilities
1. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends, holidays and split shifts.
2. Arrive to work on time, consistently.
3. Upon entering the property, arrive in proper uniform, crisp, clean and in good repair.
4. Hair must be clean and cut in a becoming style; management has final approval.
5. Attend all required training, safety courses; attend office and departmental meetings.
6. Report any safety hazards, follow up that hazard has been corrected, and assist with providing a safe work environment.
7. Make sure all sidework is complete before opening.
8. Set up tables, glasses and silver should be clean and lined up properly; salt and pepper shakers and sugar holders full and clean; chairs, including legs and table bases are clean; flowers are appealing and fresh; table cloth is clean, crisp and hanging properly.
9. Attend pre-shift meeting to learn daily specials and miscellaneous information.
10. Greet guests and their guests immediately and with a smile.
11. Guide guests through the course of their dining experience, communicating frequently.
12. Ring members checks accurately and on a timely manner.
13. Communicate with the Captain or Dining Room Manager as to closing time.
14. Clean station and sidework as required.
15. Close and check all guest checks at the end of shift.
16. Turn in check-out to Captain or Dining Room Manager.
17. Perform and follow up on all other duties assigned by Captain, Dining Room Manager or Room Service Supervisor.
