JOB OBJECTIVE The Dispatcher (Hourly Supervisor) plays a critical role in communication and coordination between the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Maintenance Departments.

This position also provides support to other departments as needed regarding Housekeeping operations. This role is cross-trained in multiple Housekeeping functions to ensure a comprehensive understanding of overall departmental operations. As an Hourly Supervisor, the Dispatcher provides leadership support to the Housekeeping team and may step into the Housekeeping Supervisor role when needed to maintain seamless daily operations.

This position contributes directly to operational efficiency and enhances Post Ranch Inn's Total Guest Experience. This is a full-time position scheduled from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM and requires weekend availability. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Answers, handles, and dispatches Housekeeping and Maintenance phone calls and service requests.

Communicates and coordinates room status with Reception and Housekeeping to ensure operational efficiency. Coordinates maintenance repair requests and oversees Maintenance Work Order tracking. Keeps the Housekeeping Manager informed of day-to-day operational matters and departmental updates.

Assists all departments with Housekeeping-related matters, serving as the central communication hub. Provides leadership support and backup coverage for Housekeeping operations during staffing shortages or peak periods. ESSENTIAL SKILLS 1 year experience in an administrative role, preferably in a Housekeeping department Must have a proven track record of providing unique guest experiences Work independently in a fast-paced environment Possess excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and telephone etiquette Basic computer skills required (Google Workspace including Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Must have effective verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish Valid driver's license PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to use repetitive hand and body motions on a regular basis such as grasping, writing, typing, listening, hearing, and visual acuity Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time on varying ground levels with stairs on a regular basis Ability to lift 50 pounds or more on a consistent basis and to bend, stoop, stretch, climb and squat frequently to fulfill a range of manual tasks Pay rate for the Housekeeping Dispatcher position is $23.00 per hour ABOUT US: Post Ranch Inn is one of the most acclaimed luxury resorts in the world and is consistently listed as one of the world's best places to stay
