Job description

Molded Dimensions Group, located in Port Washington, WI is a leading manufacturer of molded rubber and cast polyurethane parts.

We are seeking a skilled and reliable **Molding Machine Operator **to join our Rubber division on 2nd shift.

Shift. The successful candidate will operate and maintain a molding machine, monitor production processes, and ensure that products meet quality standards. If you are detail-oriented, have machine operation experience and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment, this role could be an excellent fit for you ~ experience in injection molding a plus, but we are willing to train!

2nd shift: 1pm-9pm Monday-Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and operate an injection molding machine according to company standards and safety guidelines.
  • Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions, ensuring parts meet quality specifications.
  • Position and secure inserts and load rubber into machine
  • Remove finished products from machine using hand tools, air hoses and other equipment.
  • Perform finishing work on molded product, including manual clipping, trimming, sorting and assembly of parts produced.
  • Conduct quality checks on parts and complete documentation as required.
  • Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members and shift leads to meet production targets.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a machine operator, preferably in a molding environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Above all, be dependable!
