Job Title: Machine Operator โ€“ Injection Molding
Location: Essex, CT
Schedule: 1st Shift | Mondayโ€“Friday, 7:00 AM โ€“ 3:30 PM
Pay: $25โ€“$27/hour (DOE)
Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm or Direct Hire (for the right candidate)

We are seeking an experienced Injection Molding Machine Operator to support production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for machine operation, setup, troubleshooting, and ensuring high-quality output while maintaining safety and efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor injection molding machines to meet daily production goals
  • Set up machines and tooling for production runs
  • Perform routine adjustments, troubleshooting, and minor repairs
  • Inspect equipment prior to use and ensure proper functionality
  • Conduct in-process quality checks and make necessary adjustments
  • Measure and verify parts using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate production logs, including scrap and corrective actions
  • Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
